How SculpSure Can Help The Fight Against Stubborn Fat Cells

A healthy diet and plenty of exercise are key components of achieving and maintaining a healthy weight. But what if all that healthy eating and physical activity isn’t giving you the body you want? What can you do to blast those trouble areas that don’t seem to shrink, no matter what you do?

When stubborn fat cells refuse to shrink, SculpSure may be the answer. This revolutionary treatment was designed to target problem areas and blast away stubborn fat cells that have been immune to healthy lifestyle choices. If you have difficult fat cells that you want to get rid of, SculpSure may be the treatment that you need.

What Is SculpSure?

SculpSure is a noninvasive treatment used to target fat cells. It requires little to no down time and has been approved by the FDA. This treatment is suitable for men or women and can be done on the abdomen, flanks, thighs, and under the chin.

SculpSure was created by Cynosure, and is designed to work in unison with a healthy diet and exercise regimen to target stubborn pockets of fat. It is intended for people who have a body mass index not exceeding 30. SculpSure is not meant to fight obesity.

How does SculpSure work?

The number of fat cells within our bodies generally remains the same. When we lose weight, our fat cells shrink but don’t actually disappear from our bodies. SculpSure permanently destroys fat cells reducing their total number within our bodies.

SculpSure uses lasers to heat and damage the structural integrity of fat cells while leaving other tissues unharmed. The fat cells die and are carried away by the lymphatic system.

What to expect during treatment

One SculpSure treatment takes about 25 minutes and is performed by a licensed practitioner. The SculpSure belt will be wrapped around the areas you want to address. You can receive the treatment on multiple body parts at the same time.

The laser reaches a temperature between 107.6°F and 116.6°F, which is hot enough to kill fat cells. After a burst of heat the device switches to a cooling effect. The process is then repeated until the treatment is complete.

Most patients report an intermittent feeling of warmth and tingling while receiving the treatment. There is no need for anesthetic or pain relief. The slight discomfort is generally tolerated well. Once the treatment is over, you can resume your regular activities.

Some patients may experience soreness or stiffness in the treated area. Occasionally there may be some bruising. Massaging the treated areas may help alleviate some of these symptoms.

What are typical results

One 25-minute session can destroy an average of 24% of the targeted fat cells. As the cells die and are cleaned up by the body, results can be observed. It usually takes about six weeks to see a slimming effect but can take up to 12 weeks for the full result.

Some people may be happy with just one session. Other individuals may require additional SculpSure treatments. A second session can be done as early as six weeks after the initial treatment. In other cases patients may be advised to wait 12 weeks for subsequent sessions.

The results you get with SculpSure are considered permanent, as eliminated fat cells will never regenerate. SculpSure is not designed to replace a proper diet and exercise. The treatments will not remove all fat cells and those left behind can still swell with poor choices. A healthy lifestyle is recommended for best results.
